In September 2025, volunteers and senior leaders from across all three Lead Provider Collaboratives (LPC's) came together in a Celebration and shared learning event.
The day was to note the incredible work that our Experts by Experience have been undertaking and to ensure that their accomplishments are rewarded and shared to ensure further learning. Our Experts by Experience play a pivotal role in shaping specialised mental health services across the North West as their lived experiences provide invaluable insights and perspective which will shape and improve the quality of care. 
Tim Welch, Chief Executive, welcomed Experts by Experience and praised their continued commitment to working with clinicians to improve specialised mental health services.
Jenny Scott, Associate Director of Commissioning, reflected on the journey of the Experts by Experience Programme, its incredible work and the insights generated by Level Up, EmpowerED and Helix Forums.
